I bought an adult tricycle with a rear basket to make it more mobile and also to be able to pull loads. I was given a trike, the basic kit for said trike, and completely forgot I was bringing my dog. I thought about adding it to the cart, but what if I need to take something with me? For that I needed an idea that wasn't a basket or a walk-in idea. I found many ideas. Backpacks, detachable seats and padded kennels. I couldn't do the first one behind my back, or the other two because most of them were designed for bikes not trikes; To my knowledge there is no trike hitch that is safe to use with these towing options. I had no idea until I looked at the front pockets where particularly active parents carry their children! I did a few window purchases and started looking for one made for dogs. My dog was in good shape, a fit 20lb dog that most styles couldn't accommodate. It's safe to say I was lucky to find this style. I don't know why but it took almost a week even though it was made by Revane and I had Revane Prime. I waited with anticipation and finally it arrived in a package ready to be dropped in the mailbox. The backpack was very durable, had many adjustment options and even had a collar hook; Nice gesture! It was easy to dress and undress and Howard to dress. With 20 pounds of dog on my chest while riding the trike, the harness was very comfortable and there were no complaints from Howard. It is very easy to take him off the leash and putting it off is not difficult either. He loved riding with me and I loved being able to take him with me without sacrificing basket space! Best of all, it was a great bonding experience! All in all very well designed, easy to use and also comfortable for the user and the driver. I believe? I would recommend it to anyone especially fellow bikers or cyclists looking for a fun way to take their furry friend on an adventure!
