I used to have a V1P with rear secondary camera and recently upgraded to V3. After playing with it for some time and using it for a few days, I am very happy with my purchase. I was a little suspicious of the cockpit camera, but the way I positioned it allows it to see me without placing any responsibility on me. I'm not a Lyft or Uber driver, but if I was I would use this camera WITHOUT ANY QUESTION. Even without being a driver I still think it's great and worth buying. The overall image quality is very clear, the GPS speed works great, as does the lane departure warning, although I'm most likely just using my car's auto-correct feature. I recommend setting up the camera with the power adapters in your car as I've had trouble with that at home but not in my car. The app's WIFI function is cool and works well when you need to watch videos on the fly, e.g. B. directly after an accident. The sound quality is crisp and clear, which is very impressive overall. A must have whether you are driving to work or just protecting yourself from false insurance claims / fraudulent third parties or police stops. I wouldn't trust any camera brand other than Rexing. They covered my whole family over 3 cars. I have a lot of security cameras at home, but I've never given much thought to protecting myself on the street. Don't wait until you have a bad accident where someone lies to make you realize you need a car cam. Now everyone has them at home, why not continue the protection in the car?!? Protect yourself and choose a brand that offers great customer service and a quality product. I took some photos showing the camera inside and out, day and night. As mentioned above, I wanted to position the cockpit interior camera directly in front of the passenger seat so it wouldn't distract me too much. This works great and you can see both the cockpit and what is happening around and behind you. I also photographed my placement in my car. Setup was pretty easy and I already had a wired PSU running from my V1P model so I didn't have to run any more cables which was a plus. I highly recommend buying a hardwire kit. This model, like the others, comes with 3M tape, which seems to work well in the Texas heat, but I also always play it safe and try to limit direct sunlight in the summer months when I'm home with my car parked Car is in the driveway. Overall I don't see any issues with it so far and think it's a great upgrade.
