This is the perfect solution for my car. My vents are angled so most vent mounts are either directly behind my hands when I'm on the handlebars or face the passenger window. The ability to adjust the optional mount allows me to see my phone on the mount and I can still access the buttons on the dash unlike previous mounts. It seems to charge fairly efficiently. I haven't used it long enough to know if it charges properly from a low battery level to higher percentages (short trips), but it does have a USB-C connector that plugs directly into the charging pad. It stays on the phone effectively and doesn't slip, and I can use it in portrait or landscape mode with ease. It wobbles a little like a disk
