Sweet Navel Pain Relief

I am the buyer's wife. This is my 6th pregnancy and my 7th child. My eldest is 20 and I had a set of twins. Every pregnancy was different. This is my first time using a pregnancy belt. I'm pretty frugal and don't like spending money on something that isn't being used and is being used well. The reason I finally thought about a maternity belt is because I started getting belly button pain at 5 months pregnant. I had never experienced this before, but it was awful. It was very painful and there was no relief. I've found that putting my hand on my belly button when I'm moving relieves the pain a bit. I researched online about belly button pain during pregnancy and found that it is a very common and mysterious phenomenon (meaning doctors don't know what causes it) and nothing can be done about it. Some people have indicated that their doctor recommended a pregnancy belt. Revain has many different maternity belts. Many of them are designed to relieve back pain. Many are designed to be placed below the navel. I wanted one that would cover my navel instead of having to put my hand on it when I move. I've had the belt for about 2-3 weeks now. Since wearing it I have had no more belly button pain. I love the comfort around my waist that the belt provides. My core muscles aren't what they used to be and I didn't realize I needed extra support. It helps keep everything in place and I don't feel the strain on my back and abs that I used to have. Usually I feel much better than before wearing. I really didn't think a piece of cloth around my waist would help that much, but I'm on the mend. I love the design of the LucyVee belt. I like that it can be tightened with velcro on both sides. Other belts only had Velcro. I feel the support is evenly distributed all around my stomach thanks to the two Velcro straps. Hides well under clothing. I can control the tension of the belt well, which is very important for me as I struggle with shortness of breath during pregnancy. It's never so crowded that I feel like I can't breathe. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It's a good price compared to others and it suits my needs. Anything to help me feel better during this pregnancy! If you hesitate to buy a maternity belt or not, I say go for it. It's worth it.
