Update: Worked a few weeks then died. NOT a good product! external usb 2 drive but it is very slow because it is usb 2. Cloning can take up to an hour. I was able to cut my time down to 10 minutes with this great adapter! a new clone from the beginning, but just the file comparison that Carbon Copy Cloner does (on a Mac) can take up to 15 minutes. I can't tell how it will work on Windows, but I suspect it's pretty much the same. All in all a good buy!
