Guys you definitely need to remove the part about these mounts for G226HQL monitors. I bought them together with the mount I bought (but forgot to check if the mount is compatible with my monitors). mountain has arrived. I excitedly removed my monitors from their stands and realized I had ordered the wrong mount for my monitors. So I needed adapter mounts. Meanwhile, my monitors were shaky on their old stands because my little one ran away with some needed parts. (Maybe we'll find them in his diaper. I have no idea.) With the staples, I thought I should be careful not to make the same mistake again. I looked for the model number, right on the back of both of my monitors. Found these brackets. They looked right - a proper mount would definitely need two pins to fit the monitor and these mounts had those pins. Waited patiently (due to COVID) for a week trying not to touch my monitors lest they fall to the floor. Brackets have arrived! On my birthday no less! I was like a kid on Christmas morning with my screwdriver and the parts scattered all over the floor. Only. They didn't fit! The pins were too wide for the holes on the monitors. I tried forcing - bad idea, I know - but the differential was too big for that to work. I was trying to build something out of the various parts I had left (it was a BATTLE keeping them out of a toddler's hands, let me tell you). Nothing worked. My husband found me beaten on the ground and my son "built a rocket ship" around me from various parts. I looked like I was about to cry. And to be honest, I probably was. He brought the brackets into the mysterious garage, along with the part of the monitor that fit in two holes. A few minutes later he returned with his braces glowing. Once they've cooled, they're perfect! He cut them for me. Aside from the false advertising that almost ruined my birthday, the mounts were relatively easy to install - just four screws each to attach to the brackets that came with the mount. Two stars overall because I was stressed.
