Rating of the foldable short ramp for dogs up to 200 lbs. I drive a Ford Focus

I first saw this when a woman loaded her lab into a van. I ran over and asked where she got this wonderful product from. After telling myself so, I went home and ordered it right away. As you know both of my bassets have short legs and long bodies which makes it difficult for them to get in my car or jump off and this can cause back problems if they jump over the product too much anyway. I drive a 2012 Ford Focus, which is a small car, but this ramp works great in the back and front seats, it's wide enough to fit in the front and back doors of most cars. You can use it on the door ledge or put the ramp on the seat cushion which will make it look a bit steeper. And going up and down takes time with lots of treats and learning rewards. But they can handle it. My 11 year old loves it but needs a little nudge at the end of the ramp to complete the ride in the car. My 3 year old walks with no problems. You have to put your foot on the bottom to keep it stable when climbing on it because it's unstable without support and dogs don't like that. As for the green grass on it, I think it serves its purpose and gives the dogs a tougher support, which helps them. I bought a short folding ramp for dogs under 200lbs and the height is great for a small car. It has a slight slant and this style will not work for trucks or large SUVs, you will need a larger tri-fold. But for a van or a little care like a trick it works. I am so amazed at how early my dogs learned to use the ramp and how much they love it. If you're standing on a fence, just buy one, your dog will thank you, as will your own hind legs and hands. Basset takes me on walks all the time now, oh one more thing, it's not too heavy and has a latch to keep it folded when not in use. I bring mine from the car into the house and put it on the couch. so that the eldest can go to his favorite place where he can no longer jump. It's small enough not to take up much of the living room in my apartment, it would also work for a bed or whatever. This should be the best investment for my children. I might buy another one to keep one in the car and the other at home. It is also an alternative, if your dog hates walking like me, try this ramp, it will change you and your life together.
