I should give four stars for the money. See, it's not a Fluke, but it has two inputs, two displays, and supports the full range of thermocouple types. He has some peculiarities. The backlight turns on for two seconds when the device is turned on. There's no way to change this, and there's no way to turn the backlight on or leave it on. What's the point? It's a beautiful white LED backlight. It would be great to use it. You have the choice of auto shut off after 1 minute (one minute!) or no auto shut off. It's your choice, and you choose every time you turn on the device. It's pretty funny. Why not 5 minutes or 10 minutes? The good news is that the batteries seem to be holding up well and are long lasting so there's no harm in leaving them on for a few days. But hey, the display is nice and big, accuracy seems good when boiling water, and price is everything, so four-star fads are everything.
