I bought this to support my Mackie Mix Series Mix12FX -Watt 12 channel mixer which it gets along with no problem. What impressed me the most was the design. I used a music stand with the tray perpendicular to the floor and it worked but wasn't as stable as this stand. I also looked at a few other brands but most were cheap. Here are a few things that make this model stand out: First, the quick-release mechanisms and not the crappy grips used on every other stand I've tried. Second, if you're considering this for a really heavy piece of equipment like a projector, the support post pins ensure it's supported. To be honest the pins will probably never be needed as the main triggers are held firmly. Dimensions: Tray: 15 9/16 x 10 7/8 in. with tabs at top and bottom. Inch is ideal if you are a keyboardist or drummer who wants to control his instrument and mics through a mixer as the high range is perfect for most scenarios. Footprint: 25 inches between tripod leg points. 12 x 7 5/78" to hold your blender or laptop securely in place. My Mackie blender didn't move when placed on the stand and the table was tilted 30 degrees. Finally I got these Bought Hamilton carry case for the KB50 and KB990 series stands which easily holds and protects this stand I recommend if you choose this model.
