Review on πŸ”’ FOLAI Adjustable Waterproof Replacement Shoulder: Ultimate Comfort and Protection by Antonio Moore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

What a nice update

Attached this to one of my solo backpack sprayers and what a great change. They are much nicer and more comfortable than what was on the sprayer. I never knew they were available until one of my straps broke and I got tired of carrying about three gallons on one shoulder. I was looking for something comfortable, with good reviews and at a reasonable price. It meets all three requirements, and when I get around to it, the other two syringes will get new straps as well. Can't comment on durability yet, but after a year of use they haven't worn out. Update: you have to deduct one star and probably should be two. Those metal clips just aren't strong enough. If one fell apart today and the long, curved part lifted up through the slot from below, I could get on with the work, but the other side looks like it's about to break. With 1.5-2 gallons in the sprayer it would probably be fine, but 3 gallons is too heavy for them. Still comfortable but won't buy again Update: I've noticed comments about broken plastic clips. They are metal on hinges, making it easy to rotate and adjust the straps. But in this regard, they really are not the most durable metal. I discovered this a few days ago when my seat belt came undone and I had to catch a three gallon syringe in it. It turns out that if you attach the top clip in the direction of the moving part down, every time you turn the atomizer upside down on its back, the clip will bend slightly until eventually the moving part no longer engages with the fixed part is engaged. I just used water pump pliers (sliding pliers) to squeeze everything back together, which was pretty easy. I found that when the clamp was flipped, which is more difficult to install, it didn't bend as much. But the price still suits me perfectly. However, if I had paid 3 times more, I would have expected stronger clips. Further update: I downgraded this to three stars after not only did the top two clips fail and fall apart, but the curved part that went through my atomizer just fell off after breaking in half. They're good enough for a gallon in the syringe, maybe two if you're careful. But since I like straps over clips, I order four stainless steel snap hooks, which are commonly used in climbing and aren't very expensive, from Revain, thread them through the top of the strap, and then attach them to my atomizer. . Now I love the straps and clips, I'm sure they can handle any weight I can handle in my syringe.
