Great little ceiling fan for the price!

I ordered this USB fan in September 2019 so I've had it for 8 months now and it's still working really well! My bedroom is actually in a converted basement and there are a few hooks on the ceiling with hanging knick-knacks and old newspapers. So it was very easy for me to find a hook to hang this fan on. Then I simply routed the cord across the ceiling and down to the nearest outlet and that was it. It creates a nice breeze and sometimes even works too well. LOL The only problem I have with the fan is that it's a bit noisy (especially when it's first turned on). It looks like the ball bearings have been shot and need either cleaning or lubricating. Once it runs for about 20 seconds, the noise actually goes away on its own. Another feature of the fan that many have pointed out is that it doesn't have an on/off switch. To fix this I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QDSV5J4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Seems like an item you wouldn't buy under normal circumstances , but boy This switch is very handy for this fan and perfect for him. Finally, I can lubricate the fan, clean the ball bearings, or replace it with a new fan. But at $15.99 and 8 months later, I can definitely say I've already got my money back.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
