I was skeptical that a USB powered fan could be powerful enough to be practical. This little guy, and he's really small, turned out to be pretty cool though. It looks cheap and a little touchy; Only time will tell if it can withstand everyday use, but so far it's been great. It draws only 4 watts and ends up being used off the grid in our screened backyard house along with some lights connected to a small solar generator (Ecoboxx 150 watt hours).

I should have read other reviews but was hoping I'd get lucky and get the white like the pictures. The color of this fan is NOT white as shown in the pictures. Very easy to assemble, thank God no screw connections. It hangs and works without much noise or wobble. There's no power switch, so turning it on or off just means plugging it in or unplugging it. However, switching requires additional costs. A bigger hook, a way to fold the leaves and a flat bottom to attach the LED bulb with glue would be a good addition for the next model. I was looking for a simple plug and play fan for my porch gazebo. This fan seemed like a great solution. It meets most of the parameters: light, easy to assemble, good speed, well built and pretty cute. However, it's a lot smaller than it looks, so it doesn't move much air. I ordered this USB fan in September 2019 so I've had it for 8 months now and it's still working really well! My bedroom is actually in a converted basement and there are a few hooks on the ceiling with hanging knick-knacks and old newspapers. So it was very easy for me to find a hook to hang this fan on.
