Review on WD_Black SN850 Internal Gaming Solid by Josh Allen

I use this disc for video editing, I used to have many moments waiting for files to load. All my cpu ram gpu's are top notch but my hard drive was a huge mechanical one. I ordered this in the hope that it would somehow change my workflow. IT FOUND IT! That's it, no more waiting for loads, everything loads quickly when I swipe, add effects, etc. It's insanely faster than mechanical drives and significantly faster than my SSD drives. I bought the 2TB version and while it's expensive, 4th Gen NVME is legit. For gaming I don't see a need, maybe there's a game that quickly pulls data to where it's needed. However, I haven't encountered any games struggling with my mechanical drive, let alone my SSDs. My motherboard has heat shields with thermal pads, the idle temp is around 40 degrees on this NVME.
