I taught my wife how to build a computer and this single OLOy DDR4 provided a valuable lesson about hardware dead. Luckily I could they pull a newer G.Skill Aegis 16GB out of my gaming rig and we were able to end the tutorial with a bonus tutorial on troubleshooting component errors.
