Lifesaver! for my opinion

Purchased an older home with original hardwood floors under wall to wall carpet. After doing some research I found this product. I purchased two so I wouldn't be the only one removing staples from the floor! :) I had both regular and narrow staples throughout. I read somewhere to use a dremel to make the metal of the remover narrower to allow you to get under the smaller staples. I did that and it worked perfectly! Such a lifesaver and timesaver!

Pros

Minimizes the risk of accidental damage to the material surrounding the staple

Cons

The tool may not be effective on rusted or corroded staples
