These are SUPER gloves. I sprained my index finger tendon which in turn aggravated an old thumb joint injury AND the vacuum landed on the base of my thumb/top of my wrist. All of this happened within 24 hours. I tried these gloves along with the thumb brace I had and then added a finger splint to keep my index finger in a stable position. Gradually I managed to get rid of the thumb splint and at times only had to wear the necessary finger splint (depending on the activity). The glove was VERY comfortable and offered good grip. I wore it all day until I was no longer in pain. Now both my mum and dad have gloves - they use them to treat arthritis. They are undersized. As such, I recommend going one size larger than you would normally wear with gardening/work gloves.
