Excellent compact umbrella. What starts at 13 inches top to bottom opens to a 41 inch dome. When you press the button, the umbrella opens fully. And most importantly, if you press the button again, the umbrella folds up. It's great when you get out of the car in the rain. You can open the door just far enough to lift the umbrella, press the button and voila, the umbrella opens and you can walk out without getting wet. When you get back to your car, open the door and get in. Then press the button and the umbrella will close for you to take into the car. No more trying to close your umbrella and get in your car while getting wet. That doesn't happen with this umbrella.
