Review on MICHELIN Latitude Cross 235/60 R16 104H summer by Jnis Hermanis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

Good afternoon. My dimension is 235/60/16. Made in France. In general, tires are worth the money, especially for the 50/50 city / country road mode. Purely for the city, so-so because of the noise and terrible sensitivity to the track (although this may only apply to this width), it steers on asphalt with a slight delay (woolness). You get pleasure on the primer - soft, there are not enough stones and gravel, it steers perfectly. The first two seasons (April-November), the presence of water on the road did not bother me at all, in the third season I started to get up and swim (worn down to the first mark). After three seasons and about 50 thousand mileage, the conclusions are as follows: wear is uniform, does not peel off, looks like new, there were no punctures (another plus, a high and thick tread), there are no hernias, the noise has not changed. I do not recommend it for all-season. I had experience driving in the snow - it does not slow down in the snow and in the cold. Barely drove to the garage on a full drive.

Pros
  • Very soft, you do not feel the asphalt coating at all. Very tenacious on the pavement - slows down to the spot. Doesn't wobble on hard acceleration. There is practically no hydroplaning in the first 20 thousand. It rows well in mud and muddy grass.
Cons
  • It bites into a rut on the pavement - the car has to be constantly kept or taxied so as not to be thrown out. After grinding to the first mark, the car began to get up on the water, it did not affect the patency in any way. Noise louder than winter spikes (surprise). The noise is monotonous, but appears already at 40 mph.
