In high-rise buildings with flush tanks, it works only through a pressure reducer or control and shut-off valves through a decrease in water pressure, otherwise it works with each flush. In the first photo, a valve with a broken brass transition was installed in 2022 on a washing machine faucet, broke when a tightly screwed hose was disconnected - thin-walled brass and a service life of more than 10 years (it is unlikely that there was a defect in the product). I have been using 1/2" and 3/4" valves for many years - in general, there were no complaints.
