Review on 🔧 Holley 700R4 Carburetor Throttle Bracket with Kickdown by Carlos Burrows

Many years ago I bought an old 50's hot rod with an SBC graft with a 700R4. I had never owned a 700R4 up to this point and didn't realize how tricky the TV cable installation was. The previous owner had a proper mount on the carb, but due to my lack of gearing experience, I didn't realize the importance of the geometry of that kickdown mount. Along with a separate set of springs (to maintain proper tension on the TV cord) the transmission is a whole different beast! It shifts a lot harder, disengaging when needed, and seriously woke the car up. It's amazing what the details will do. The product itself is a bit more expensive, but it is well made and the result is worth it!
