These are not light, soft, sticky balls that are pleasant to the touch. They are about the size of a tennis or baseball ball, have the strength of a tennis ball, but are heavier, not inflated and not as resilient as a tennis ball. They have some advantages, but are quite solid in the hand. You should be able to be thrown at least 20-30 feet without falling too fast. I bought these balls and a 35 inch red round velcro net target for my 7 year old to practice throwing targets and improve accuracy. They seem perfect for that. Once we try and aim the balls I will post more info.
