Review on 🔊 Enhanced Rockford Fosgate R165-S Prime 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component Speaker System by Giovanni Bedjohn

Good but I wish I had spent a few bucks more and switched to the Punch series. However, it is good value for money and far superior to my factory "Premiere" speakers (the Prime has much larger magnets and cones than the factory speakers, and they're not paper!). The sound is clear, but I don't intend to use it for bass, it's more mids. Note that I'm still using the factory deck and have a subwoofer in the trunk for the bass and they will no doubt sound better with the deck and an aftermarket amp. If you plan on installing them in a Hyundai door (I have a 2013 Veloster), be careful. a ridiculous modification of the tweeters is required (in hindsight, 20/20, it would have been much easier to simply replace the factory speakers with a two-way or three-way non-component speaker). Luckily I also had the Crutchfield Installation Guide - it saved my life!
