Satisfaction: Autoelectronics

Very good sound Replaced the factory Rockford Fosgate with these and better stronger mids and bass. The price is very fair and the quality is excellent. Delivery is quick with no damage. would recommend.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • I don't have much animosity about it, everything is fine

It sounded ok until the tweeter broke

This kit sounded ok for the price until one of the tweeters blew. I powered them with my aftermarket head unit, which puts out 20 watts x 4 RMS. Almost everything has been said.

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good budget option, suitable for coaxial speakers

Louder than expected but still needs a subwoofer for bass noise. It's probably better to use self-tapping screws in the holes than going with threaded inserts. The surface mount option worked great

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Confusing

Sounds great, solid construction

Sounds very nice. Used these to replace a deluxe factory set that was fine but didn't meet the requirements. You will get great results with them. FYI, there are no mounting hardware other than the tweeter. But one day I'll take something more impressive, like this. Bass is not super strong. They reproduce the low end well at low to medium volumes.

  • Done

Dude, that sounds good!

Dude, that sounds good. Velvety and clean at an amazing price. The cymbal hits are crisp and the kick drum is amazing. That's exactly the tone. Period. They will likely outperform most speakers in this size range at any cost. You'll hear details in your music that you thought your car stereo couldn't reproduce. My only regret is not upgrading my factory speakers sooner. You want clear sound? do yourself a favor

Good material on Autoelectronics

So much beautiful speakers. You will love the Watts main unit. I wanted that without the amp. A Pioneer avh2500nex delivers loud and super clear sound, perfect for mids and highs, complemented by an under seat subwoofer in my hatchback. Probably not good for full range if you want a 40/60hz subwoofer, I had to parse the tweets to add them to the door panel. Lots of plastic glue holding the tweet together, but it's doable. I hooked up the main unit along with my Fosgate 6x8 rear speakers and the

If you haven't confirmed your purchase yet, do so now!

Bought these speakers to upgrade my 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 and they fit perfectly. They have built in crossovers so there is no need for extra wiring or a crossover somewhere in the door panel which was my main reason for buying them. The tweeters are exact OEM size and you can easily mount them to an existing bracket which will hold them in place after removing the set screw. For the price and speed of delivery, these Rockford's really can't be beat. Over the years I've ridden Alpine…

Not quite a 6.5 inch speaker but just what I needed.

later The best part about buying speakers is that the size can only be guessed at. Some more, some less. Who knows? In this case, there was more bad and less good, so finding these 6.5-inch speakers that are really just 6-inch speakers was a huge win. Also, for my application I only needed the midrange as the car has separate 3.5 inch speakers for higher frequencies so the tweeters included in this box are still in the box. Finding a reasonably priced smaller 6.5" midrange driver wasn't easy…

Good value for money

Good but I wish I had spent a few bucks more and switched to the Punch series. However, it is good value for money and far superior to my factory "Premiere" speakers (the Prime has much larger magnets and cones than the factory speakers, and they're not paper!). The sound is clear, but I don't intend to use it for bass, it's more mids. Note that I'm still using the factory deck and have a subwoofer in the trunk for the bass and they will no doubt sound better with the deck and an aftermarket…
