I love that Cricut makes smart vinyl for Cricut Joy. It makes my life a lot easier. I wish the material was a bit longer for the price but it's better than not having to use a rug for every DIY project. The fact that I only download it is a plus for me. I had no problems with weeding. I also like the grids on the back which make measuring and cutting easier. In my opinion, Vinyl Permanent lives up to its name. So far I've used it on wood surfaces and glasses and the glue hasn't come off. I have washed the glasses many times and these letters have not disappeared! While Smart Vinyl isn't required for Cricut Joy, it's a huge bonus.
