I bought these in-line Xmas lights, assuming they'd be more convenient and wouldn't get tangled like more conventional lights. Man, was I wrong. These get tangled and kink easily. I've spent days just to untangle the huge rats nest, before I could install it. Once installed in my front yard, the remote only works if you're close to the receiver plug, and you have to point straight at it. Which means you'll have to go outside in the cold to do it. Also, the remote and lights give no haptic feedback of a command once you press any button on the remote. There's no light on the remote either to signal feedback of pressing a button. So you won't know whether the timer is activated or not until after the full 6 hours. Like I said, these Xmas lights definitely need improvement.
