Almost painful to wear. It's like having 2 screws drilled into your temples. Outside will not work. Works as expected indoors, but outdoor welding is useless with this helmet. We were building a fence over the weekend and some parts had to be welded outdoors. Once this helmet goes outside, the auto dimming stops working. There is no way to manually darken the shadow. so 100% indoors only. One would think that a helmet with "Solar" in its name would be able to work outdoors where there is plenty of sunlight to power it. Maybe I have a really big head, but even in the loosest fit, it still felt incredibly snug on my head. Good thing my buddy had a spare Miller helmet that actually works indoors and out and doesn't have to be Frankenstein in the skull to stay tuned.
