These bulbs get incredibly hot which will eventually corrode the inner element of your landscape lighting as the material is not thermally stable and will break down. In the past I have had to solder more wires than can be imagined as a permanent solution. In addition, these bulbs are short-lived, as they burst at high temperatures. Invest in low voltage LEDs. BELIEVE ME. They will be much happier because they are cooler, don't destroy the inner element and last much longer. Savings over LED just aren't worth it
