Review on Portta YPbPr Component RGB + R/L to HDMI Mini Converter v1.3 - Supports 1080p & Uncompressed 2 Channel Audio LPCM by Brent Borseth

I bought a new TV with a common component/composite input but I have a DVD and VCR that I wanted to use; Splitter cables didn't work. I bought it to connect a component DVD to HDMI and use a composite VCR with a TV input. The DVD picture quality has drastically decreased with this adapter. I believe if you have a component VCR it will suit your needs as the VHS quality isn't that good anyway. It will likely work well with other component devices. I sent it back and will order a composite module for HDMI. I connect the DVD to the component TV input and use a new VCR adapter. Hope this works; I don't like constantly switching cables when switching between devices. I give 4 stars because it does what it says on the tin and I feel the company is highly regarded; the return was very quick. Hope this helps with the solution!
