I was thrilled to receive this monstrous 6.5 inch subwoofer. One thing I didn't plan for, however, is where the awful spade terminals are. Magnet? Yes, this makes the magnet barely fit in the 6.5 inch subwoofer cutout on my closet. But that's not my main problem since it's removable. My main issue is the absolutely awful blade terminals. The guys make some of the best car audio components on the market. Every Skar product I have had has never let me down. snug fit. Flat connectors are in the worst place. Not only that, they are NOT a standard size. So no matter what spade terminals you try, they will never fit. Now, as for the soldering, the terrible placement and angle literally causes the wires to be pinched between the cabinet cutout and the subwoofer. high stress on the wires. I've actually broken a lot of cornrows. So I gave up tonight and will try again tomorrow. To be honest, this subwoofer didn't come cheap. Therefore, it should have spring terminals to make life easier. Now I'm debating whether to try a different enclosure or buy a subwoofer that actually has spring terminals. Very disappointed in Scar for finding it even remotely acceptable. I had to listen to others on this topic. I would order another sub. But I trust Scar from other products too much.
