These brushes are essential - they last a decent amount of time (retain their softness for a long time). I use tongue gel with this brush and then a tongue scraper to remove bad breath. Then I brush my teeth with Sensodyne, floss and then rinse with Therabreath. I was taught this ritual using these items by my barber in New York, who couldn't breathe dragons anymore and unexpectedly told me how the process worked for him. I realized he was offering me a try without saying it. I was very ashamed but it was just what I needed. Who can say their barber has cured them of a lifetime of bad breath!?
