this is as advertised. it is well put together and very rugged. Maybe a little to bulky for my liking but i have been using a sleeve instead of a case or bag. There is room in the pocket for pen, surface mouse, Que cards, SD cards etc. and room for paper, phone or whatever in the handle pockets. plenty of room in a compact bag. my primary use is as a traveling bag, in the coffee shop, car or office setting it works great. i prop the surface on top as a table to read the paper and news in the morning an afternoon at the coffee shop or hotel lobby. i have not used my old lap top bag or my old table sleeve since i started using this bag a week or so ago.
