Assuming this was standard/mediocre tool wise, but the metal case it's first kept in had inactive hinges that don't contain hinge pins and so relies solely on the fabric inside, to attach the top to the bottom, and of course the hull is also damaged. Also, it's pretty lackluster as the tools are boxed and secured with sharp, cheap velcro straps. Very disappointing that my 3 year old daughter got a dad gift for Father's Day. And of course, who loves to surprise someone with a broken, cheap gift. That's what my husband wanted. As a chef I would never buy it. Build your own kit with the best tools from better sources. I suspect these tools will not last a season. Just take a look.
