Gum Saver Mouthwash

I have periodontitis from taking anticonvulsants (Dilantin). Anyway, in my case I had an abscess of less than a penny and was on antibiotics for it for 2 weeks at the end of April awaiting my appointment in May (the 30th, they were booked up by then). Well after taking antibiotics for two weeks I was fine until the abscess refilled (and ruptured at the slightest touch, disgusting) and my gums started to fester and I also developed gum ulcers and a fever. Early last week I called my dentist and was prescribed penicillin. Anyway, I decided to try this substance myself to help my gums along with penicillin. So I try it out the first night, brushing my teeth and gums with it. Well, the abscess that shriveled on penicillin overgrown with pus (and I drained it, sorry for the gross detail, but it's necessary). But unlike the last time it accumulated (before I got penicillin) I didn't have any pus coming out of my gums, all that pus went into an abscess. My gums weren't as red, swollen, or receding as they used to be, they were actually shrinking (still receding, but not as much as before). But what really struck me was that the wound was open and not even penicillin made it better. The wound was open, red, and the penicillin didn't do anything about it after a few days, but a few hours later it closed again, and you didn't even notice that I was in pain. It convinced me that this stuff is great. The only issue I will warn you about is the taste. It's very, very bitter and takes some getting used to, but it works well. Give it a try if you want to be gentle on your gums
