This leash changed our lives

I rarely write reviews let alone photos with it but we had to share our success with this leash. We are familiar with all dog leashes, collars, training equipment etc. My 2 year old GSD/ACD mix is very smart but mentally stubborn. We trained tons to get her to walk better with me. She reacts to the leash out of frustration at wanting to meet other dogs. I used to always carry treats to distract them and switched to a fabric martingale collar to help pull them up. But nothing seemed to help in the long run. We have worked a lot on her obedience and commands for heel, sit etc. I think it helped a lot, but the icing on the cake was this simple slip. You should also work on the basics of training your dog so he knows what you're asking of him. I've heard of leashes before, I know they are often used in shelters, they are easy to use when travelling, but I never thought they could help my dog. Making sure they are in the RIGHT place (high behind the ears and tight but not too tight) has greatly improved physical communication with me and my dog. With this leash she seems less restless on walks, less confused when I tell her "come" and I rarely have to "correct" with this leash, she just stays with me right away, she looks at me more and listens to my commands much better . Our walks became much calmer and she could walk peacefully alongside other dogs and not even look in their direction. I'm a little mad at myself for not getting any of these a year ago! Plus, it's so easy and convenient to carry when not on it (dog parks, etc.). I suggest watching instructional videos on proper usage and leash training tips and hopefully this will help your dog walk!
