Read a few reviews that said the pocket or zippers broke and almost didn't buy them but I'm glad I did. Yes, this grooming bag is quite heavy, the zippers are strong enough. I ordered LARGE for my 12 lb cat, was the right size. It took two of us to get the pig in a poke and we did a few test runs. Freckles was a vagrant when he found us and might one day become an obedient cat, but he most certainly isn't yet. We had to cut his nails because he's just learning some manners and has really gotten us hooked. I picked it up and quickly placed it on top of my bag which was already laid out on the counter, my husband immediately started zipping the back and I fastened velcro around his neck. I still had to put a cone (leftovers from another medicated cat) around Freckles' neck because he would have bitten off some of our fingers. Anyway, we trimmed his nails and nobody got hurt! Practice before trying this, your cat will likely rush in and try to fight his way out, but this bag will work.
