Expensive but worth it
We adopted kittens and I found cleaning the plastic boxes a chore. I bought them to be sturdier and they're actually pretty cool. They get scratches from kitten claws but they are easy to clean and I just use bleach and a washcloth to remove the scratches. The sides are also decently high. So unless they go mad, most of the debris will stay in the box while digging.
