I was curious if this was real HEPA, but the elements inside look the same! The plastics have different manufacturing markings, so it's not a Dyson OEM - and that's fine. It's about 1/4 the cost, so it makes sense. The small brush that comes with the kit cleans everything in the container well. If you want your vacuum cleaner to be in its original condition (no residual odors) I recommend removing the canister and washing it by removing the 3 internal plumbing parts ( 5 torx screws) and washing them with dish soap and the small brush included in this kit. Be sure to use an air hose to blow out the water! You can also place the parts in front of the HVAC fan overnight to dry. After these steps, my V7 smells like a new car. These are super good filters for the price and an easy solution to upgrade a great device.
