I bought this pillow based on positive reviews. Used it for a week, wanted to love it but it falls far short of its 5 star rating. First, the outer shell doesn't cool, doesn't breathe as advertised, gets very hot, with or without my own 100% cotton pillowcase. So I removed the outer cover which results in (even under a nice cotton pillowcase) the pieces of foam being less cushioned so you feel all the lumps, not good either. This pillow, even after adjusting to a higher loft, is like an old worn pillow, flexible and thin, it does not support the neck and shoulders. Oh wait, unless you wake up multiple times during the night to loosen it up and retune it. . I tried what a pain it was, literally and figuratively.
