Bad receiver

I bought this clock radio a few years ago and immediately found that it doesn't pick up the radio stations I wanted, at least not very well. Another radio on the other side of our bed tunes the same stations. I was also annoyed by the beeps that are generated each time a key is pressed. I don't want to wake my wife when I change something! My daughter just got me a new Timex Model T308 clock radio to replace the Sony. Timex works great, installed in the same place as Timex.
