I don't know why but I am using a 50" Visio TV with multiple HDMI inputs. Spectrum digital video recorder. The splitter seems to work fine when I connect it to the cable box and to the TV. 1080i But when I connect a second HDMI output to my DVR, the TV stops and then shows 720p in the status bar. .Why is there a change? From the product description you would think it will always read 1080i. So I doubt the accuracy of the companies claims regarding HD output on this set. It may be my TV but.
