Review on Classic Glass Water Pitcher with Lid and Spout, 62 oz Capacity - Ideal for Iced Tea, Juice, Water, Soda - With Glass Handle for an Old-Fashioned Beverage Carafe by Richard Muncy

I gave this to our group that drinks Lassie every day. I like it because it's durable and big enough that you can put your hand in to wash it. I took off the star because the lid is plastic - I knew that from the description so it's not surprising. It says it has a sealed lid, but I couldn't figure out how that would work because no matter which way I turned the lid, there seemed to be a hole. They may need more time to play around, but since it's plastic it didn't take me long to test it for leaks. I would have liked a food-safe silicone lid that closed well, but after a lot of research I settled on this one and I really like it. I just gave a medium sized elastic silicone case that works great. I really like that the glass is lead-free and non-toxic. It doesn't say it's dishwasher safe, so we'll just hand wash it, but it's easy. For the price I think it's great and pretty to look at.
