I bought this to keep my dog on the lawn while we fix some problems with his electric fence. I was very impressed with the packaging. The grounding rod is very strong, strong and heavy, do not mess with it. I bought this because it looked sturdy and I wasn't disappointed. I also love all of his groundings and spins so I'm not worried about being pulled off the ground. It was easy to assemble with this bar, I didn't have to use any force, just twist. Towards the end I had to pull hard on it to screw it into the ground. Our dog is a Labrador/German Shepherd mix, weighs about 60 pounds and is extremely strong and active. She's adapted well to that steak, although I'm sure she'll be happy to be back in the whole garden. I'm glad it can be used when we need it and so far I'm very happy with this purchase.
