It is recommended to cover the part with a towel only for removal.

Fits perfectly on a 2002 Mercury Sable. It is very easy to remove the old one and install the new one. Be careful though: make sure the engine is cold so the fuel pressure is low, otherwise you risk squirting out hot fuel under pressure when you remove the old part. It is recommended to cover the part with a towel when removing as a precaution. Watch the video on u-tube to learn what not to do. Also a great company that sells parts through Revain. The part was delivered quickly and I received it within a few days. No questions.
