Review on Black FINIS Amnis Stream Swim Bluetooth Headphones by Heidi Willis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

not suitable for training

The product description says "People no longer need to download and upload MP3 files to their device." This product is bluetooth only. They seem to want you to pair it with an Apple or Garmin watch. But should you attach your watch to this device or tuck it under your swim cap? So now you can't use your watch to record swimming. Maybe they want you to buy a second watch? I have a Garmin fenix that doesn't have Spotify or a streaming service, so I still need to download those mp3s to my watch. It uses a proprietary magnetic charger that plugs into a standard USB (Type A) connector. I'm not sure why they couldn't just use the standard Type-C waterproof connector. Or just use the same charger as the Apple Watch as it looks like the best device (if they don't want you to download and download music files). That way, you don't have to carry around (and potentially lose) a proprietary charger. (I mean of course they would be happy to sell you another one if you lose or damage the first one.) Finis makes a lot of swim training equipment but I'm not entirely sure how they think they use it. Personally, I like to wear the watch on my wrist so I can track laps, rest and sprint times during my workouts. But if you have an extra Apple Watch or Garmin Watch just for music streaming, it sounded pretty good in the water.
