Oh my god, he's small! I ordered the recommended size for my 2 year old niece and she is TOO SMALL. TOO SMALL. These swimsuits are VERY skinny and tight. I mean they are so snug that they might not be comfortable for your kid. I don't recommend them unless you try them first. I ended up ordering the XS but they are still too tight and she will probably only wear them once or twice. I didn't return the larger size because my niece fell in love and ripped off the tags. This kids size CXXS has expired so we need to put it on a stuffed animal or something. This is a VERY SMALL size. CXXS is the recommended size for a typical 2 year old. I even took measurements to check.
