Disappointing Woodworking Caliper

This woodworking caliper falls short of my expectations. Based on my observations, it does not provide accurate measurements, making it difficult to achieve precision in my work. The design seems flimsy and unreliable, giving it an overall industrial and scientific feel that is not up to par.
