In short, this product saved my little friends. As with any newcomer to fish farming, there are successes and in many cases failures, for example due to an incomplete aquarium cycle. This is what happened in my situation, and even after testing the water for ammonia it showed a screaming 3 parts per million (I still don't know if it was really 3 as I've tried every type of product, for example products to remove ammonia that *detoxifies* ammonia and give false readings) my guppies and skypearl zebrafish were still thriving despite the commotion. They must be steel or something! To be honest I tried everything I could and then came across this product which in the description says it completely removes ammonia. No detox, just completely gone. I gave it a try and even contacted customer service who was very helpful and confident that their product would not only remove ammonia but also nitrite and tap water dechlorination. This is exactly what happened after testing the ammonia with the API freshwater kit, it showed a solid 0ppm. I literally had ammonia levels for weeks at that time. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend this product for all of the above. My only problem now is that I have another product, Seachem Prime, which seems to be a godsend for water conditioners. As long as I have this huge bottle I'm torn on what to use, since my water perimeters are now perfect I tend to only use Prime from now on.
