So glad I bought this. I have an old XPS8300 that is showing its age. I knew that the 16GB limit technically applies mostly to 32-bit operating systems and that Windows 10 x64 should work, but I was still concerned. I'm happy to report that after installing the new memory, the system booted up fine and all 32GB of memory was available. I've never gone above 8GB, but now that I've set 32GB, the system regularly skips 16GB. I never knew how much I needed that reminder.
