I used to order another brand but wasn't satisfied and returned it. Too small, too flexible. This cat cave has now become my cat's favorite resting place. It tips the scales at 16 pounds, but it has plenty of room inside to roll over. This cat cave is approximately 1/2 inch thick and solidly constructed. It's not flexible at all, rather stiff but comfortable, and its original shape hasn't changed since it was purchased. The cat loves it and it's worth the reasonable price I paid. While I hope iPrimio will come up with some new models/designs in the future, I'm very happy with the Vulkan look of what I bought. The dark interior is preferred by my cat This is the one you must buy.
