This broom was pretty expensive, like brooms, but it was incredibly cheaply made. In fact, it's lightweight to the point where it's ineffective. It's very soft, but I'm not sure what it's really good for. Can sweep flour. Modern surfaces don't scratch easily and I've never heard of a broom scratching anything. It would have been better if the handle was light but it's 3 pieces of aluminum glued together so thin it buckled when I grabbed it as it fell. I like the dustpan that stands up so I don't have to bend down (the only reason I'm giving 2 stars) but it's also very cheap. I might try installing a retro handle.
